I’m a Wealth Manager Assistant at Carrick Wealth, where I support our wealth management team by helping to ensure that our clients receive efficient, professional, and personalised service every day. I enjoy being part of the journey behind the scenes, keeping processes organised and making sure every detail is taken care of.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Stellenbosch University, where I studied political science, economics, and socio-informatics. My studies gave me a broad understanding of global affairs, cultural diversity, and the relationships between countries, organisations, and societies.
Before university, I spent a year working at the Ethics and Leadership Institute (ELI), where I was introduced to the professional working environment and gained valuable experience across different areas of the business. During my university holidays, I also worked at the Sustainability Initiative of South Africa (SIZA), where I developed an understanding of compliance, auditing, and sustainability standards within South Africa’s agricultural sector.
I believe the combination of practical work experience and academic learning has given me a well-rounded perspective and the ability to adapt to different environments. It has strengthened my communication, organisation, professionalism, and attention to detail, while teaching me the importance of staying curious, being willing to learn, and embracing new challenges. I’m excited to continue growing within the wealth management industry and to contribute meaningfully to the clients and team I work alongside.
Outside of work, I have a passion for Pilates and wellness. For me, wellness isn’t about perfection; it’s about appreciating and taking care of the body I’ve been given. I value movement, balance, and gratitude, and I believe that looking after your wellbeing is an important part of living a fulfilling life. I also cherish spending quality time with my family, as those relationships keep me grounded and remind me to appreciate life’s simple moments.
