The SUP Crossing
Carrick Wealth was the proud sponsor of Chris Bertish, and his solo 93-day stand up paddle (SUP) board transatlantic crossing. From Morocco to the Caribbean, this SUP Crossing made history, set a new world record, and proved that there are no limits, borders, and boundaries when it comes to believing in yourself.
All for charity, the core goal of this ocean crossing was to create a positive impact and to leave a legacy by changing the lives of millions of children across Africa. All funds raised during the expedition went on to benefit three charities that perform vital work for the welfare of vulnerable children: Operation Smile South Africa (providing free life-changing surgeries for children with facial deformities), The Lunchbox Fund (which provides a daily meal for orphaned and vulnerable school children in townships) and The Signature of Hope Trust (which is committed to the vision of empowering people, through opportunities and the means to secure their futures).

Carrick Wealth is the title sponsor of the Carrick Ambassadors Cup Polo Tournament, an annual A-list event hosted by the Bushman Rock Polo Club in Harare, Zimbabwe.
More than just a hard-fought battle on the field, our support of the event is also part of our on-going corporate social initiative. Every year, a portion of the funds raised by the Carrick Ambassadors Cup Tournament is donated to the St Joseph’s House for Boys in Harare, an orphanage that has been home to orphaned and abandoned boys since 1929.
