Andrew, born and raised in Zimbabwe, grew up on a farm outside of Gweru and moved to Harare in 2002. He attended Peterhouse Boys School in Marondera, considers himself a proud ‘Petrean’, and currently serves as a member of the school’s Petrean Committee. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce at Rhodes University, South Africa.
Andrew saw an opportunity to expand his professional horizons and joined Carrick in 2017. He has been trained extensively in financial services, and this in combination with his previous experience, has prepared him to serve as Wealth Management and Advisory Manager in the Harare office.
Andrew’s natural leadership qualities and strong work ethic were recognised by the Board. In 2018, Andrew was appointed as Director—a position he currently holds. Over the past five years, he has demonstrated his commitment to excellence by assembling and training a team of exceptional advisors and business development managers.
In second year with Carrick, the Zimbabwe office was ranked the top office out of seven in the Carrick group. Andrew also achieved the “Top Leader” award in the group. In 2021, the Zimbabwe office and Andrew personally were runners-up in both categories. The growth seen in Zimbabwe has provided a blueprint for other African offices as Carrick continues its aggressive expansion throughout Africa.
Aside from successfully building a profitable business and a world-class team within Zimbabwe, Andrew provides financial advice in his personal capacity to a growing client base high-net-worth individuals in Zimbabwe.
