Abigail Reynolds

Abigail was born in India and had already lived in India, Italy and South Africa by the time she was 3 and her family returned to live in their home country of Zimbabwe. She completed junior school in Zimbabwe and then high school in Cape Town, South Africa. She then completed her BA.LLB degree at the University of Cape Town, where she finished on the Dean’s Merit List. She was a Rotary Exchange Student for a year in Argentina, having sailed her way there as a member of the first ever school team in the Cape to Rio yacht race. During her studies she also lived and worked for various months at a time in Europe, to gain a broader perspective.

She completed her law articles at DLA Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, then went on to consolidate her love of corporate and commercial law under a well renowned mentor attorney at Bernadt Vukic Potash and Getz. To deepen her corporate transactional experience she spent 4 years in the merger and acquisition team at Investec Private Bank, Cape Town.

In 2012 she opened her own law practice trading as Reynolds Attorneys, under which she and other specialist attorneys offer bespoke law services to a range of clients. The services offered by her firm include corporate & commercial law; wills, estates and trust law; labour law; litigation; conveyancing; mediation; and IT, technology and electronic communications related law.

She is a qualified and practising mediator, and volunteers at the Wynberg Children’s Court one Saturday each month to mediate disputes between parents.
She has been elected to various law committees, including at a national and provincial level.

She is a passionate eco warrior and loves the outdoors, and is as comfortable in water as on land. She loves her dogs fiercely, and the same for her husband and friends.
