Fred van Niekerk

Fred grew up on a farm in the Breede River Valley in the Western Cape. He went to school at Paarl Boys High and then Stellenbosch University.

Fred started his career as an independent financial advisor in the UK in 2001 and was consistently one of the company’s top performers over an 11-year period. He became the youngest ever area manager responsible for the Southern England region before returning to South Africa.

Since his return, Fred has established himself as an authority in international wealth management. As Director and Regional Head: Western Cape, Fred ensures strategy is implemented and the team stays motivated and focussed on the end goal of providing clients with solutions that are aligned to their financial objectives.

Testament to Fred’s skill as a motivating leader, his Monday morning meetings are legendary with standing room only.

Fred lives in Somerset West, Cape Town, with his wife Nicki and two sons. He loves to spend time fishing with his boys, watching rugby and carpentry.
