I believe in building genuine relationships and have a heartfelt desire to help people achieve and maintain their financial goals. Integrity, which forms such an integral part of our company ethos, is everything to me. I have incredible teammates and wonderful clients who have become friends over the years, and I believe in everything that we as Carrick do and stand for.
What is the best part about your job?
Honestly… my clients. They are all incredible human beings who honour me with the trust they place in me. Going above and beyond makes my relationship with each of them even more fulfilling.
Tell us about your personal and professional growth while working at Carrick.
Having originally been Assistant and Business Development Specialist for our Regional Manager and working with the entire Carrick team as International Client Relationship Manager, I have had the privilege of being involved in every single aspect and process of our business with our leaders, clients, and institutions. I value each of these very highly as gems of knowledge together with the mentorship from experts in our field. I feel that these factors have gone such a long way in developing me, making me that much better at what I do.
What is a typical day at work like for you?
Keeping up with current affairs, markets and events across Africa. Client meetings, portfolio reviews, and liaising with institutions, client relationship managers, and compliance teams. I set a few hours aside to study and of course – time for coffee!
