General Manager: Western Cape – Carrick Wealth
Anton joined Carrick during 2020 to head up its sales team as General Manager: Western Cape, based in Cape Town. Having previously worked in senior executive, managerial and advisory positions at Absa Wealth, Standard Bank Wealth and Stonehage Fleming, he brought a wealth of experience to Carrick.
In addition, Anton is highly qualified, having graduated with a BA (Law) from Stellenbosch University, has a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (PGDFP), is a CFP Charter holder, and has completed RE1 and RE5 (Cat 1 and Cat 2).
He joined Carrick’s senior management team just as Carrick concluded its management restructuring process, with the team being mandated to ensure the Carrick Group’s 2025+ strategy is achieved. Anton was motivated to join the Carrick team because he regards it as being “highly professional, internationally experienced and entrepreneurial at the core, yet remaining client-centric with a holistic integrated approach to managing wealth”. Carrick’s values resonate well with his own, he says.
As a firm believer in mentoring and developing people and providing the necessary framework to help them achieve success, he strives to share the valuable experience he has gained with the Carrick team and their clients, while at the same time learning from them.

Craig has extensive experience in the offshore investment property space and specifically in the UK property market. He has been actively involved in the marketing and sales of a broad range of UK based property investment options into the Southern Africa market for a number of years. Having worked in the land, student accommodation, care home and buy-to-let sectors he has an in-depth understanding of the various challenges and benefits for offshore investors wanting to diversify and looking to build a Pound-based portfolio and income stream.
