Bronwyn graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA Social Science degree, majoring in Labour, Organisational Psychology and Human Resource Management. She also completed a short course in Business Leadership and Management through MasterStart (University of Stellenbosch) and the RE5 certificate, a regulatory exam in terms of the Financial and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS).
Upon completion of her studies she joined Carrick in the Finance Department and worked specifically on payroll management in respect of more than 700 employees in different countries. She started her career with Carrick as Payroll Administrator, then became Commissions Manager before being promoted to Payroll and Commissions Manager. She currently oversees the commissions received process and payments across all Carrick Group companies in several countries. This also includes management of local commissions of Carrick’s growing Onshore Division.
Bronwyn says receiving the Directors’ Award has been one of the biggest highlights of her career so far. It acknowledged the passion and effort she has put into her career and the future of Carrick, she says.
Things she is interested in:
Bronwyn loves going to the theatre and especially watching ballet performances. Other than that, she enjoys downtime with friends and family, with some good food and wine to round it off.
