Jessica joins Carrick from State Street Corporation, a US financial services and bank holding company and one of the largest asset management companies globally. At State Street she held the position of Client Service Officer (Senior Team Lead) in their branch in Gdansk, Poland to which she had relocated from Cape Town. She brings with her substantial local and international client service management and project experience, and also successfully relocated client services and started up business teams from London to Cape Town and again from Cape Town to Poland.
In this capacity she managed teams in multi-cultural environments and gained valuable expertise in global financial markets, fund accounting, internal platforms, and manager relationships in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. During her almost 6-years stint at State Street, she held previous positions as Client Service Senior Associate, Client Service Representative and Daily Fund Accountant, UK Offshore Funds.
Jessica holds a B Com Management Accounting degree from Stellenbosch University and is designated ACMA and GCMA by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). She is currently also enrolled for Level 1 of the CFA Institute’s programme.

Jessica believes her financial and emotionally mature leadership skills that have allowed her to work in a high risk, high value environment under extreme pressure, have equipped her well for her new role at Carrick.
