I absolutely believe a financial planner should be held in a similar regard as a civil servant, wealth planning is as important as policing or any other necessary service. I see my role as an advocate for this message. 

What is the best part about your job?  

I always find it exciting to meet with new potential clients and I very much look forward to exploring ways to help Africans plan for a brighter future. 

Tell us about your personal and professional growth while working at Carrick.  

I started my career in a business development role advocating international wealth planning as a necessity for preserving your future spending power and achieving your future goals, as wealth manager I am now able to complete the experience and I work closely with clients to formulate strategies that can African proof their individual goals. 

What is a typical day at work like for you?   

I generally start my day with a large cup of coffee. 

Once hair and makeup are done, I then select an audiobook that will keep me company while I navigate Cape Town traffic. 

As soon as I get to my desk, I switch to the reactive mode which is getting all the urgent matters dealt with and by lunchtime I am back in a proactive mode which is engaging with new clients.
