Mike Fannin is an expert in designing tax-efficient solutions for high-net-worth clients and is dedicated to the craft of creating sustainable retirement solutions. He holds a B.Comm degree from the University of Port Elizabeth, as well as various diplomas in Equities and Risk Management. Moreover, his expertise was honed over the course of twelve years in the crucible of London’s financial district.

There he co-founded and built Principia Group – a holistic Financial Services company that incorporated Financial Advice, Mortgage Procurement, Corporate Finance, Venture Capital, Tax, and Estate Planning divisions. The successful sale of the business to Montpelier Group in 2007 brought this chapter of Mike’s journey to a close. He returned to South Africa in 2010 to work for one of the industry’s largest financial consultancies.

Mike is a co-founder of Signature of Hope Trust. Through the activities of the trust, he is actively involved in the drive to raise funds that benefit its beneficiaries to make a real sustainable difference in the communities they serve.

Mike has a competitive spirit which drives him to compete in challenging multi-sport endurance events. He’s completed in Ironman 70.3 (2014, 2015, 2018) and Ironman South Africa (2014).
