One West Point in West London, part of a £26 billion regeneration scheme of what was predominantly an industrial area, is offering an entirely new way of life.
Part of a 1600-acre plan, the regeneration is the largest of its kind in the UK and will be adding a whole new element to West London which has stepped up hugely in appeal of late. The West of the city has seen the recent expansion of White City, a high-tech, 17-acre district of leading academic, retail, cultural, and leisure excellence, while the £600 million expansion of Westfield London in 2018 has made it the largest retail, dining, leisure and entertainment experience in Europe. It’s now home to some 450 luxury, premium and high street brands, stores and fashion boutiques.
“The UK is a popular investment destination for South Africans,” says Bradd Bendall, Carrick Wealth Group Sales Director. “Its first world economy and political stability are very attractive to clients wanting to diversify their portfolios, while the property market is showing very high levels of growth and there is strong rental demand.
“The highest levels of rental growth are found in locations where you have a one-hour commute to London,” he explains. “One of the most exciting aspects of One West Point is its location – it’s here that the Crossrail overlaps with the High Speed Rail, which links London to Birmingham. The overlap will form part of the largest new railway interchange ever built in the UK and this interconnectivity drives real estate.”
From the onset, the fundamental design of One West Point was influenced by the desire to create an entirely new way of life in the 21st century. It’s an architectural statement – a unique signature building that soars skywards, exclusive apartments surrounded by landscaped gardens, intricate courtyards and dedicated outdoor space. Residents have full access to the world-class amenities, 5-star recreational offerings and bespoke concierge services.
The development will offer 701 new homes across four buildings at the centre of the North Acton/ Old Oak regeneration area. The tallest of the buildings is W54, a 54-storey tower with alternating balconies on each floor creating a ‘weaved’ effect. It will be the tallest residential landmark in West London. The other towers are 39, 11 and nine storeys.
