Carrick Wealth wins prestigious International Adviser Best Practice Adviser Awards

IABPAA Facebook Post Template2019 3Local wealth management and investment advisory firm Carrick Wealth continues to excel among its peers, having just won two more International Adviser Best Practice Adviser Awards. This is the fourth consecutive year in which the Cape Town-based firm has won what is regarded as the international financial advisory industry’s most prestigious honours.

This year Carrick won the Best Practice Adviser Award in the categories for Excellence in Marketing and Best Adviser Support Team. The awards were announced in London yesterday (Monday 25 November).

International Adviser Best Practice Adviser Awards won by Carrick in the three preceding years, include those in the categories for Excellence in Investment Planning and Excellence in Business Transformation in 2016; Excellence in Marketing and Client Engagement and Excellence in Client Service in 2017; and Excellence in Business Strategy in 2018. Carrick has now won these awards in no less than 6 different categories.

“I am once again delighted and deeply honoured to have been recognised in this way by our industry peers internationally. It truly is a remarkable achievement for our entire team, given that as a firm we are only five years old but have won these awards in four of those five years, or in every year since the inception of these awards, and in six different categories,” said Carrick Founder Craig Featherby.

“But more importantly, winning these awards is also a reflection of two vital aspects of our business: one, the absolute importance we attach to our client relationships and putting our clients first, and two, the fact that none of this would have been possible without the remarkable work that is done behind the scenes by our dedicated Adviser Support Team. While I want to thank everyone at Carrick for making this possible, I wish to extend a special word of gratitude to our Adviser Support Team. So often they are the unsung heroes of our industry.”

The awards are hosted annually by International Adviser, a global information and research platform serving the financial adviser community, in partnership with Old Mutual International. Over the past 13 years, International Adviser has become known as the voice of the global financial adviser community. Winners are judged by their industry peers in recognition of their making or having made the transition towards best practice in six global regions: The United Kingdom, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa and the Middle East.

Since its founding five years ago, Carrick has grown rapidly and established itself as a leader in the industry, setting new benchmarks for industry standards and practices. Carrick prides itself on its outstanding client relationships and quality of its service, for which it this year also received outstanding recognition from its clients in two separate client service surveys, one conducted independently by Intellidex and the other conducted in-house among Carrick’s clients. The firm is headquartered in Cape Town, with offices in Johannesburg, Durban, Mauritius, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
