Carrick Wealth rated highly in Intellidex Top Private Banks and Wealth Managers Awards
MEDIA RELEASE
Leading South African wealth management firm Carrick Wealth has ranked in the Wealthy Executives category of this year’s Intellidex Top Private Banks & Wealth Managers Awards. Carrick, who will be celebrating five years since its inception this year was ranked second only to veteran industry giant, Investec and was rated ahead of other long-established big names in the financial services industry in this category.
“But,” says Featherby, “it doesn’t stop there, and we will continue to innovate and improve our client experience to best support our clients across the globe. We also thank our clients for expressing such high confidence in our firm and its services. And thank you to Intellidex, IRESS and Satrix Investments for hosting another fantastic awards evening recognising the financial services industry leaders in South Africa.”
The fast-growing Carrick has outshone many of its competitors in the industry, winning a string of international and local awards for excellence in the financial services industry in the process.
In answering the survey questionnaire, Carrick showed that it had introduced a number of innovative changes over the last few years to improve their value proposition in line with their focus on providing clients with a seamless, client-centric experience and integrated wealth management. Since Carrick’s inception the firm has been committed to setting new benchmarks in the industry, attaining full transparency and creating maximum value for their clients, it said.
Intellidex is a leading research house focused on South Africa’s capital markets and financial services and conducts a range of different research across the financial services sector in South Africa. It launched the Top Private Banks & Wealth Managers awards in 2012, which provides important insight into the competitiveness of South Africa’s private banks and wealth managers.
The survey is based on an institutional questionnaire and another for their clients. This year 5,820 clients participated in the client survey. The survey is designed as a guide for potential clients to establish which institution will serve their individual needs the best and is also used by firms to improve their services.
Intellidex says this year’s survey found that clients in South Africa are becoming increasingly concerned at the state of the economy and the erosion of the value of their assets. At the same time, they expressed high levels of confidence, trust and even admiration for the people who are managing their wealth, according to Intellidex.
