Sovereign named International Retirement Provider of the Year
Sovereign was named “International Retirement Provider of the Year – Product” at the inaugural International Adviser Product and Service Awards 2016 on 12 May at London’s Waldorf Hilton Hotel.
Sovereign was chosen for its Calpe and Centaurus retirement benefit schemes, which were recognised by the judges as “products that are differentiated from competitors as innovative and backed by consistent service and support.”
Both Calpe and Centaurus are Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes (QROPS), which are established and regulated in Gibraltar and Malta respectively.
The International Adviser Product and Service Awards are for firms that offer cross-border products and services for advisers with international and/or expatriate clients. They were judged by a carefully balanced blend of industry experts and leading international financial advisers.
Recognition for Sovereign’s products and services comes hot on the heels of its acquisition of UK-based specialist SIPP provider MW Pensions in April, which will enable Sovereign to launch new SIPP products in summer 2016.
