Durban, South Africa: On August 28, Carrick Wealth’s Durban branch opened its new office in Umhlanga Ridge. The new office now boasts more than double the floor area and easily accommodates 27 team members.

The new office also offers two private client meeting rooms, an internal team meeting room and a large multi-purpose room that will be used to host regular client seminars covering relevant niche market topics. Not to forget the fully-equipped reception area that includes the office’s very own mascot named Maximus the Lion!

Paul Mitchell – Associate Director, Durban office – explains the significance of this change.

“We originally moved into our Durban office on the 1st of October 2014. At that stage, the office was 145sqm with one meeting room and an open plan office for our advisory team. At the time, it was more than sufficient and we were very proud to work from such a well-presented office. However, the last three years saw rapid growth in both the region and the financial services industry.”

Since, 2014, Carrick Wealth’s Durban Office produced:

  • Top Associate in 2015;
  • Top Area Manager in 2016; and
  • Top 3 Associate in 2016.

As Paul says, it’s Carrick’s growth and success that enabled the Durban team to grow as an office.

Our goal is to continue to Grow, Protect and Preserve our client’s wealth and to provide them with the very best financial and wealth advisory service.

The new space means we can now expand the team even more – to find out more about possible opportunities in our new Durban office, please contact tracy-lee.jacobs@carrickfs.com
